Construction underway at Fairlight

One of the best parts of my job is seeing my designs being constructed and there is no better way than this bird's eye showing the first floor and roof framing under construction at the rear of a semi-detached house in Fairlight.

The team at A Cut Above Constructions are under pressure to get the house to lock up stage in time for the festive season.

Winning Designs 2017 magazine now available in newsagents

I was a privileged to join the judging panel again this year for the BDA Australia National Design Awards. There were many exciting projects to judge, with the winners published in this year's Winning Design magazine.


International Women's Day 2017

Be Bold for Change.

TAFE NSW's Ultimo Campus, celebrated International Women's Day with a talk by Eva Cox, AO, renowned feminist academic, discussing the history of the women’s movement and its influence. Eva's talk was followed by presentations from Donna Colombini, Australian Training Awards VET Teacher/Trainer of the Year and Susan Jarrett, TAFE NSW Ambassador.


Sydney TAFE Excellence Awards

The Sydney TAFE Awards held on Friday 5 August celebrate the exceptional achievements of students, teachers and alumini.
I was honoured to be asked to present the Alumni Achievement awards to Alexandra Laughan (Contribution to Community/Industry), Cheryl Poyaoan (Innovation and Entrepreneurship) and Claire Humphery (Emerging Talent).
Megan Riley was awarded the Construction, Engineering and Transport Susan Jarrett Industry Award.


Structure Building Design launches new logo

Structure Building Design's new logo, website and updated business name have been launched. Many thanks  to Laszlo of Forefront Graphics, Dylan and Tess of Clinkstone Creative, friends Mike Meyerson and Neche Page for helping with the "new look".
