Susan has joined the teaching staff in Building Studies in a part time position, teaching the Certificate IV building students at Sydney TAFE. This course is the first step for students pursuing a builders licence qualification.
Building Designers Australia national design award judging

Susan joins a team of industry judges to assess entries and select the winners of this year's Building Designers Australia (BDA) design awards. The winners will be announced at Lake Macquarie later this year and the results will be published in Winning Designs magazine.
Central and Northern Sydney Training awards

Susan Jarrett and Morgan Clementson (finalist in the 2013 Australian Training Awards Australian Apprentice of the Year) were joint hosts of the Central and Northern Sydney Training awards. A hardworking team of volunteers put together the annual awards event, which is supported by industry sponsors. It is a great way to celebrate the achievements of vocational students in the central and northern Sydney area.

HIA Greensmart Professional

Susan completed training to become an HIA Greensmart Professional. This course identifies areas for improving sustainability in building design and construction.
Member of judging panel for BDA NSW design awards

Susan was selected to join a team of judges assessing entries in this year's BDA NSW design awards. The winners will be announced at the annual conference to be held in the Hunter Valley later this year.
