House, Clovelly

Our initial project brief was to extend our client’s home to provide a more luxurious and comfortable living space.

While creating a spacious master bedroom with a walk-in robe and ensuite, we also updated the stairs and other bathrooms, applying a cohesively contemporary style throughout the house.

When those renovations were complete, the client asked us to add a pool and spa and redesign the surrounding landscaping. This ambitious project featured a new, inviting front entry and a generous deck at the rear. The deck seamlessly transitions to the pool and spa area, making it ideal for relaxation and entertaining guests.

New doors from the living area now open to an elegantly designed front garden, boasting timber benches and corten planters. In the backyard, planter boxes were strategically used to address height differences between the house and pool levels, while their greenery softens the paved areas and creates a welcoming atmosphere.

The material palette of stone, corten steel and modified timber decking blends aesthetic appeal, durability and low maintenance. The client has a visually alluring space that offers longevity and ease of care, aligning perfectly with their busy lifestyle.
